Code Red EAP Immediate Steps

Investigate

• Confirm where the fire is coming from.
  • Is it in your area or being reported to you? 
• Is the alarm sounding?  
• Is anyone injured and in need of medical attention? 

Communicate

• If a fire is in your area, contact MOD/Security on their channel to alert them of the fire.

React

• If a fire is in your immediate path/location and it is safe to do so locate your closest fire extinguisher. Use the PASS method to extinguish the fire.
  • Pull
  • Aim
  • Squeeze
  • Sweep
• Begin evacuation immediately if alarm sounds, follow the emergency evacuation procedures in your designated area
  • If false alarm is confirmed by the MOD or Engineering assist evacuated Guests back into the hotel. 
  • If confirmed alarm, continue evacuation procedures.
    • Go to your assigned rally point to meet with your Supervisor.
      • Stay in the area and do not attempt to get in your vehicle or leave the Lodge.
