Code Purple- Drugs EAP Immediate Steps

Investigate

• You are notified or witness actions that indicate someone may be under the influence or in possession of illegal drugs. 
• If found in a guest room, while still occupied, leave room immediately and keep a safe distance.  Do not touch anything.
• If odor of drugs is present in a room/hallway- move to a safe location.

Communicate

• Go to the MOD/Security channel and call Code Purple and your location.  
• If the Guest requires medical attention (hurt themselves, too intoxicated to stand/walk) contact Aquatics (510) if available for a Code 2/3 due to a Code Purple. 
• If at any point the Guest becomes belligerent or threatens violence, notify the MOD/Security that the situation has turned to a Code Green Emergency. MOD/Security need to be aware of the Guest's demeanor upon their arrival to the location. 

React

• Observe from a safe distance until MOD/Security arrive.
