Investigate
- You are notified or witness action of a verbal altercation taking place. This can be between two individuals or groups of guests.
Communicate
- Go to the MOD/Security channel. Let them know you have a Code Green and the location you are at with the individuals.
- If the Guest requires medical attention contact Aquatics (510) on their channel. If the Guest is in a life-threatening situation, call 911 immediately.
- This should be followed by an ALL CALL that there is a “Code 3 for a Code Green” at your location using the guidance found in the Code 1,2 or 3 Standard Operating Procedures
- If at any point the Guest becomes belligerent or threatens violence, notify the MOD/Security that the situation has turned to a Code Green Emergency. Click Here for Code Green Emergency Steps.
- MOD/Security need to be aware of the Guest's demeanor upon their arrival to the location.
React
- At all times maintain a safe distance until MOD/Security arrive.
- If safe to do so, attempt to de-escalate the situation by verbally instructing the parties to calm down and separate themselves as they are creating a disturbance.
